Pedro Fernandez is one of the most beloved singers of his generation and is undoubtedly Mexico’s crown prince of ranchera music. With a career that expands over three decades, Fernandez has achieved success not only in the music business but also in movies and television.

Pedro Fernandez was born Jose Martin Cuevas Cobos in Guadalajara, Jalisco, Mexico. He adopted his stage name from his musical idols, Pedro Infante and Vicente Fernandez. At age 7, Pedro made his debut as an actor in the classic movie “La Niña de la Mochila Azul,” which gave him the opportunity to record his first album with the title song to the movie. “La de la Mochila Azul” became his most recognizable and popular song, which made him an international star. Since then he has starred in many Mexican films and soap operas, but is best known for his numerous Latin hits such as “Mi Forma De Sentir” and “La Mujer Que Amas.” During his 30-year career, Pedro has sold over 4 million albums, received numerous gold and platinum records all over Latin America, and participated in many motion pictures and television specials.
